Aylin Kubat

M.Sc. Psychologist & Naturopath for Psychotherapy

Education & Additional Qualifications
Degree in Psychology (Bachelor & Master of Science) with a specialization in Clinical Psychology and Forensic Psychology. State-authorized to practice psychotherapy (Naturopath restricted to Psychotherapy under the German Heilpraktikergesetz).

Professional Background
Several years of practical experience in a bilingual (Turkish/German) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy practice, working with a wide range of psychotherapeutic concerns.
I also work with the School Psychological Service of the State of Hesse (Schulpsychologischer Dienst Hessen). In this role, I advise children, adolescents, parents, teachers, and school administrators on acute school-related and psychological issues, as well as in crisis situations. Continuous professional development ensures the ongoing quality of my work.

Research Focus: Language in Therapy & Cultural Sensitivity
For my Master’s thesis, I conducted a scientific study investigating the effectiveness of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with a specific focus on the language of therapy—particularly the client’s native language. This in-depth research provides the foundation for my culturally sensitive and linguistically precise work with multilingual clients.

Approach
Every process begins with a thorough diagnostic assessment and the development of individually tailored treatment plans. I take a structured, resource-oriented, and holistic approach that considers psychological, situational, and biographical factors—always guided by your personal goals and individual circumstances.
